SwedenBIO is centered around six Working Groups (WGs) in a unique model to ensure constant member influence in all areas.
Each WG consists of 6-10 senior experts from the member companies plus one SwedenBIO staff member. The Chair is always a prominent expert from a member company.
Incoming questions are always referred to the appropriate WG for deliberation. In this way, SwedenBIO ensures that the views of the organisation represent the direct opinion of the member companies.
The WGs have 3-5 meetings per year. it is common practice for some authorities in Sweden to relay industry-relevant issues directly to the WGs for opinions.
