EU Funding Opportunities for Life Science SMEs
Here life science companies (SMEs) can find links to the latest relevant calls for proposals from EUs Seventh Framework Programme, FP7 as well as from other funding opportunities. Life Science SMES will find that most of the relevant FP7 calls are published under the "Health" theme. Other highly relevant opportunities are the "Research for the benefit of SMEs" and "People" programmes.
FP7 is a huge research programme and there might also be other opportunities for your SME hidden in the many work programmes. In the table below you will find links to a few topics extracted from some other Themes. Those other themes are "KBBE" (Knowledge-based Bioeconomy) which is also called "FAFB" (Food, Agriculture, Fisheries and Biotechnology), "NMP" (Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new production methodologies), "ENV" (Environment) and "SEC" (Security).
The FP7 Calls for proposals (Work programmes for 2011) were published on the 20th of July 2010.
The FP7 "Call identifier" link in the table below will take you to CORDIS (Community Research and Development Information Service), where you can download the key documents. Expand the tab "Information Package" to find the key documents: Call fiche, The Work Programme and the Guide for applicants. Under Info, there is as well a direct link to the respective FP7 Work programme (Health, Research for SMEs, People). For the other FP7 opportunities (KBBE, NMP, SEC, ENV) you will instead find a link to an extracted version of the relevant calls for Life Science SMEs.
